Ashlie A. Rosen, age 42 of Clear Lake passed away unexpectedly, surrounded by family, on August 1, 2025 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Ashlie Ann Rosen was born May 1, 1983 in Amery, WI to Loni & Kristie (Eggert) Rosen. She grew up in Clear Lake and graduated from Clear Lake High School in 2002. When Ashlie was young, she was diagnosed with a genetic condition that, over her lifetime, left her to face kidney transplants and health complications. Ashlie’s bright and beautiful personality helped carry her through health challenges and she always hit them head on with a spitfire attitude and a spirit that was unwavering. Ashlie’s strong willed, confident, brave demeanor helped her get through the many obstacles she would face in a pint-sized body. She loved animals, family time and especially horses, which she raised and rode with her “horsey friends” taking many trips around the Midwest. Ashlie adored raising beef cattle and graduated into raising mini beef. She also loved traveling with her friend DeDee, taking trips to Alaska, Iceland and countless road trips and limitless fun. She enjoyed the outdoors, tending to flower and vegetable gardens & “sapping” and making maple syrup in the spring. Ashlie was an excellent cook who loved baking and trying new recipes. Ashlie’s bright light came out when she could entertain, plan parties and events for family and friends. Her wit, spunky, unwavering spirit, “colorful language” and zest for adventure truly made her someone who lived for today and not for tomorrow. Everyone who knew Ashlie knew how thoughtful, generous, and considerate she was. Ashlie loved her family and friends especially her Frank, Lance & Waylon who were loved beyond measure. She will be forever missed by her family and friends.

Preceded in death by her infant brother, Lance James Rosen; grandfather, Lawerance Rosen.

There will be a private family service on Saturday morning, August 9, 2025 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Forrest, WI with Mark Woltge officiating.
