WASHBURN COUNTY (DrydenWire) – A Shell Lake, WI, man is facing felony charges after authorities executed a search warrant and uncovered a large cache of firearms and drugs at his residence. The investigation, sparked by information shared from the Polk County Sheriff’s Department, led to the discovery of over 200 grams of methamphetamine, dozens of firearms, and more than $5,000 in cash.

Patrick Powers, age 59, was taken into custody following the April 17, 2025, search and now faces multiple felony charges, including possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine and maintaining a drug trafficking place.
