Zachary Charles Naus, age 52, of South Bend, IN, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth, MN.

Zak was born on November 19, 1970, in Chicago, IL. Zak graduated from Taft High School and immediately after graduating, enlisted in the Navy and fought in Desert Storm. After the military, Zak moved to Indiana and became a CNC machinist. Growing up, Zak and his family would come up to their cabin in Spooner, WI. Even into adulthood, Zak enjoyed going to the cabin and spending time in the Northwoods where he frequently went camping and fishing.

Zak was a sports fan and passionately cheered on his favorite teams, the Chicago Bears, Blackhawks, and the Badgers.

Zak is survived by his daughter, Jade Naus; granddaughter, Sylvie; father, Charles Naus; siblings, Kurt Naus, Mike Dunklau, and Sheri Cutler; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Gladys.

A graveside service was held at the Madge Evergreen Cemetery in Madge, WI.
