Wayne Ralph Hanson, 63, of Comstock passed away June 26, 2024. He was born June 28, 1960, in Shell Lake, WI to Merlin Floyd and Clara (Kurht) Hanson.

Wayne loved his Harley, the Green Bay Packers, and most importantly his children and grandchildren. The time he spent with his grandchildren was very special to him. He had a particular soft spot for animals. It was not uncommon for Wayne to take his dog along for rides on the Harley.

He is survived by his daughter, Tina (Rob) Watts; son, Dustin (Tami) Hanson; grandchildren: Ethan Watts, MaKayla Watts, Caleb Hanson, Tyler Hanson, and Isaiah Hanson; siblings: Roger (Marleen) Hanson, Patty (Margaret Tibbetts) Hanson, Floyd Hanson, Paul Hanson, Shawn Hanson, Dean (Matthew) Ovitt-Stoneking, and Sue (Jerry) Sink; step-siblings: Diane Paradise, Bill Mlejnek, and Gail (Mike) Hoff; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; Merlin Hanson and Clara Blair; an infant brother, Rodney Hanson; step-siblings: Sandy Liberty, and Shelly Patake.

A time of sharing will be held at 6:30 PM Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at Skinner Funeral Home, Cumberland. Visitation will be from 4-6:30 PM.
