Wayne R. Burmeister, age 88, a resident of Webster passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022.

Wayne was born on October 12, 1933 in Danbury to parents, Gordon and Mary Burmeister.

He married the love of his life, Nancy on June 14, 1958 in Elgin, Illinois.

He was an active member of the Lions Club, the Burnett County Historical Society, served as Burnett County Commissioner and held positions on the Union Town Board, including the cemetery sexton. His most favorite pastime was being outside cutting firewood.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Nancy; and sister, Juanita.

Wayne will be missed by his daughter, Linda Potter and son, Steven Burmeister; his four grandchildren; along with other relatives and friends.

No services to be held at this time. The family does plan to do something in the Spring.

Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster.
