Travis McCurdy, age 45, passed away on October 1, 2022, in his home in Portland, Oregon where he lived for the last 12 years.

Travis R. McCurdy, born April 27, 1977, to Randy and Linda McCurdy, was the oldest of three boys.

He grew up on a small dairy farm in Eureka, north of St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin. Throughout his younger years, he helped on the farm, was involved in 4H, forensics and enjoyed spending time reading and being with his cousins and friends. Travis graduated from St. Croix Falls High School and continued his education at Lake Superior College, Duluth, Minnesota.

Travis found joy in reading, being an uncle, drinking micro-brews, but his true passion was traveling. He loved genealogy, geography and history which guided his traveling destinations. His love of family and animals were evident in the photos he took to share with others. Travis was also deeply devoted to soccer and his beloved Timbers Army.

Travis is preceded in death by his father, Randy McCurdy; grandparents, Carl and Grace McCurdy, Willie and Donice Gudmunsen and other extended family members.

Travis is survived by his mother, Linda McCurdy of St. Croix Falls; brothers, Trevor (Samantha) and Tryn (Bethany) of St. Croix Falls; seven nieces and nephews, Austin, Bryce, Vivianne, Casell, Annalise, Louden and Ellison and his close friends and family.

Travis will be deeply missed by so many, close and afar.
