Tamara Kaye Hopke, known affectionately as Tammy to her friends and loved ones, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2024, at the age of 53 in Shell Lake. Born on June 25, 1970, in Denver, Tammy was a beacon of light and love to all who knew her. Her life was marked by her unshakable faith, profound wisdom, and the thoughtful care she extended to everyone around her.

Tammy is survived by her children Andrea Bauch (James), Taylor Spurlock (Joey, Lyla), and Wyatt Bauch mother Bess Schmidt (Larry), Byron Hopke (Stacy) Dede Elliott (Ben), Ty Hopke, and Helen Stoeckel (Brian), Randee Bauch and 9 Nieces and Nephews, Also good lifelong Friend Bev Thomas. She was preceded in death by her father Eugene Hopke. She carried the values instilled in her by her family throughout her life, spreading kindness and compassion wherever she went.

Tammy was a fervent supporter of dog rescues. Her love for animals was pure and unwavering, leading her to open her heart and home to those in need of care and affection. She also cultivated beauty in the world through her butterfly garden, a serene space where she spent time with her family.

As we bid farewell to Tamara Kaye Hopke, we celebrate a life lived with intention and grace. Her impact will continue to be felt by those who were touched by her kindness. Tammy's memory will be cherished and honored by all who were blessed to know her.
