Steven Paul Jenson, 58, of Rice Lake passed away unexpectedly on July 24, 2024. He was born June 4, 1966, in River Falls, WI to Richard and Diane Kay (Peterson) Jenson. Steve joined the U.S. Army and proudly became a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne.

Steve was geologist and loved to share the various details he learned to those he loved and would listen. He was a kind hearted man who was always willing to lend a hand to those in need. He loved to learn new things and made a point to stay up to date on the latest news and world events.

Steve never let the troubles or hardships of the world keep him down. He chose to look at them as opportunities to grow.

He is survived by his daughters: Ashley, and Melissa Beck; son, Zachary (Abby) Jenson; granddaughter, Madison; ex-wife, Tina Jenson; and friends. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Diane; grandson, Connor; and son, Troy Shulenberg.

Funeral services will be held at Noon Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at Skinner Funeral Home in Rice Lake with Pastor Ben Kidder officiating. Military Honors accorded by the Rice Lake Veterans Center Honor Guard

Visitation will be from 11-Noon.
