Steven Kirk Streubel, age 51 of Hayward, WI, passed away Monday, December 2, 2024.

Steve was born March 10, 1973, in Chicago, IL, the son of Sandra Streubel. He lived in Hayward and moved to Milwaukee to work. Steven then moved to Michigan and finally came home to Hayward in 1987. He worked at different enterprises for the Lac Courte Oreilles Tribe, where he last worked at the casino as a chef. Steven loved sports, he played on volleyball, softball and dart teams. His favorite teams were the Detroit Lions and the Milwaukee Brewers. Besides watching his teams, he loved to go to the casino. Steven met Echo 14 years ago and have been together ever since. They were united in marriage in 2021. He loved his kids Alexis and Alex. Steven also loved to play on his X-Box and talk with his brother and friends.

He is survived by his mother Sandra Rivera; wife Echo; children Alexis & Alex Belille; brother Dennis (Joanna) Debassige and their children Dennis, Godson Matthew, Bella, Nova & Mason; sister Jennifer Streubel-Debassige and her daughter Destiny; grandmother Cyrilla “Squeaky” Streubel; aunt Tammy Streubel and her children David (Candice) & family, Jeremy & family & Daniel & family; uncle Gerald Streubel and his children Joseph, Jerad & Jimmy & families; cousins Lindsey & Ashley & families.

Steve was preceded in death by his grandfather Gerald Streubel; sister Shalon Streubel; aunt Patsy Streubel.

A Memorial Gathering will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon, Monday December 9, 2024, at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward. Lunch will follow the service at the funeral home and then meeting at Rivers Edge following the lunch.

Honorary bearers will be Chase Belille, Kevin Froemel, Edwin Kakazu, Jeff Kakazu, Jamie Principe, Dena Quaderer, Shane Schmock, Tina Schmock & Ron Spreckels.
