Shirley May Pinney, 56, of Shell Lake passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025 at Essentia St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth. She was born April 15, 1968 in St. Paul, MN to Robert and Mary (Chapman) Pinney.

Shirley was a resident of Whispering Pines in Spooner, where she will be missed for her goofy and silly style. She also was a lifelong lover of coloring.

She is survived by brothers, Pat and Perry Pinney; brother-in-law, Kim Kleist; niece, Danielle Todd; great-niece, Kaydence; and cousin, Susan Worre.

She was preceded in death by parents, Robert and Mary; sister, Rosemary Kleist; and grandma, Ellen Pinney.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 from 6 PM - 8 PM at Skinner Funeral Home in Shell Lake.
