Shelby M. Heath, age 32, of Lac Courte Oreilles, walked on Tuesday, December 6, 2022.

Shelby Mae Heath was born October 23, 1990, in Lawrence, KS, the daughter of Anna Heath and Daniel Barber.

She attended school in Kansas and LCO, then went on to attend Lac Courte Oreilles College. Shelby loved caring for her dogs, namely Lily. She also enjoyed beading. Shelby has a great sense of humor and will missed by many, most importantly, her son Evan.

She is survived by her son Evan Heath; father Dan Barber; significant other Doug Coffman and his daughter Liz; grandfather Roger Annamitta; uncles Terry Barber & Rusty Barber; aunts Louise (Gary) Varga, Sonja Petonquot, Victoria Stone, Hope Waupoose; Melanie Barber & Dowie Barber; cousins Anang goo inini, Will, Bitsy, Kyle, Dana, Holly, Sharla & Liz.

Shelby was preceded in death by her mother Anna Mustache; grandparents Buck and Wob Barber and Sadie Wauposse; uncles Beenie Barber, Tom Barber & Albert Wauposse III; aunts Regina Annamitta & Vanessa Stone.

Midewiwin Funeral Rites will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 9, 2022, at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward. Chato “Ombishkebines” Gonzalez will officiate. Burial will be in Round Lake Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, December 8th at the funeral home.

Honorary casket bearers will be Ricki Ann Belille, Debbie Graves, Penny Beaulieu and Curtis Crone Sr.

Casket bearers will be Anang goo inini Barber, Will Rice, Colton Wabaunsee, Phoenix Wabaunsee, Dakota Waupoose and Joshua Waupoose.
