Ruby Nystrom (Ruby Elgene Huehn) died peacefully in Cumberland Memorial Hospital on October 24, 2022, at the age of 95.

Ruby was born on February 23, 1927, in Cumberland Wisconsin to Charlie and Edith (Case) Huehn.

She graduated from Cumberland High School in 1944. On January 8, 1945, Ruby married Frank Babcock, who preceded her in death on July 8, 1952. On February 19, 1954, she married Donald Nystrom, who preceded her in death on July 25, 2006. She happily resided in Cumberland all her life as an outstanding active lifelong member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, and a loving mother and wife.

Ruby will be dearly missed by her children, David (Donna) Nystrom of Montgomery, Alabama, Gloria Babcock of Fallbrook, CA, Mary (James) Bolles of Woodbury, Minnesota, and Craig (Suzzan) Babcock of Tacoma, Washington; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren;

Preceded in death by parents, Charlie and Edith; husbands, Frank Babcock and Donald Nystrom; sons, Terry and Frank "Mickey" Babcock; granddaughter, Theresa Bercel; brother, August "Butch" Huehn; and sisters, Hazel Droege, Frances Grover, Dorothy Johnson, Hazel Johnson, Marjorie Turcotte, and Esther Miller.

Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, October 28, 2022, at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Cumberland, with a reception to follow. Visitation one hour prior at church. Rev. John Miels officiating. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ruby's life. Flowers and condolences may be sent to Skinner Funeral Home, 1245 1st Ave. Cumberland.

Interment to follow at Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
