Rose Marie Swanson, age 87, of Dresser WI, passed away surrounded by family Friday, September 8, 2023 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN.

Rose was born June 25, 1936 to parents, Arvid and Margaret (Soffa) Nordquist in Preston, MN.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Keith; brother Douglas Nordquist; sister-in-law Evie Nordquist; and brother-in-law Chuck Anderson.

She is survived by children, Suzette “Suzy” (Greg) Rivard, Greg (Colleen), Kristi Swanson, and Brian (Kathy); grandchildren Justin (Kelly) Rivard, Jamie (Alex) Wente, Hope (JP) Eaton, Ben (Kaitlyn Struemke), Aaron (Danielle Swanson) Vossen, Alex Vossen, Seth Poirier, Courtney (Dan) Myhr, and Ashley (Blake) Mikres; great-grandchildren, Julian Rivard, Eva Wente, Avery Wente, Jake Myhr, and one on the way; siblings Jerry Nordquist Gordon Norquist, , Phyllis Anderson, Mary Lou (Dale) Schauls, and Cheryl (Steve Johnson) Nordquist; sister-in-law Sharon Nordquist; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, September 18, 2023 with visitation 2 hours prior at Peace Lutheran Church in Dresser, WI. Burial to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in East Farmington, WI.
