Ronald Wayne Parsons, 91, of Cumberland passed on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at his home. He was born September 20, 1932 in Chicago, IL to Fred and Florence Parsons.

He was married in Cumberland, WI at the United Methodist Church on July 3, 2004 to Hilda (Stephens) Wheeler.

Ron owned and operated Romar Ltd where he had a passion for serving his customers. He loved to make sure his customers fulfilled their dreams out on the water. Ron was proud to say that he never lied or cheated his customers, and always treated them with respect. In addition, he enjoyed building model airplanes, brewing beer and, most of all, spending quality time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of nearly twenty years, Hilda; sons, Ellery (Sarah) Parsons of Barron and Randal; grandchildren, Emily Tesmer, Meghan (Jonathan) Arbuckle, Ella Wheeler, Payton Wheeler, William Horner, Brian (Bridget) Wheeler, Kevin (Heather) Wheeler, Mikayla, Austin, and Lexi; great grandchildren, Derrick, Shawn, Oliver and Zachary; and sister-in-law, Patricia Parsons.

Ron was preceded in death by parents, Fred and Florence Parsons; his first wife, Marilyn; children, Kathleen and William; his brother, Warren Parsons.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at Cumberland Baptist Church with Rev. Jared Andrea officiating. Visitation 1/2 hr prior at church. Interment Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery - Columbarium.

Honorary Pallbearers are Ellery Parsons, Kevin Wheeler, Brian Wheeler, Jonathan Arbuckle, Austin Ehrich, Terry Goodrich.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to family.
