Ronald Todd Raatz Age 61, of Rice Lake, WI, died Friday, May 13, 2022 at his home.

Ron was born on April 10, 1961 in Madison, WI to Carl and Eleanor (Sobjinski) Raatz.

He graduated from Madison East High School in 1979. Ron moved to Rice Lake in 1983 and started working for American Excelsior in 1984 until his early retirement in 2005. Ron was married to Corinne Strand on April 14, 1984 in Rice Lake. Ron was known as “Retro Ron”, loved old cars and antiques, collected many things, enjoyed going to flea markets, camping, hiking, loved to laugh and have a good conversation. Ron loved being with his dog, Hank and in the last few years being with his granddaughter, Oaklynn. He enjoyed having coffee in the morning, going for walks and hugs from his wife, but he always called her his bride. He was always there for his family and gave them so much support and encouragement.

He is survived by his wife, Corinne Raatz; 3 children, Jeremiah Raatz (Patrick Barna), Jordan Raatz and Jacey Raatz (Taurean Hansen); a granddaughter, Oaklynn; 3 brothers, Randy Raatz, Ricky Raatz (Kim Freeman) and Rusty (Terri) Raatz; a sister, Carla (Mike) Rieser; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ronald and Nancy Strand; a brother-in-law, Ron (Mary Jo) Strand; a sister-in-law, Christine (Mark) Tomesh; many nephews and nieces; and his dog, Hank.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Eleanor Raatz.

Funeral Services will be held at 11AM Monday, May 23 2022 at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake.

Visitation will be held from 9-11AM Monday at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated.
