Ronald (Rocky) Dean Rockvam of Hertel, WI passed away at St Luke's hospital in Duluth, MN on Tuesday, April 25th.

He was born on May 4, 1955, in Lincoln, NE to Donald & Ruth (Barnhill) Rockvam.

The family moved to Minnesota when Rocky was 9 years old. He attended Dover-Eyota Schools.

He married Jolene Lewison in 1975. They had two children Greg and Amy. They later divorced. Rocky had his own auto body shop in Stewartville for several years. He was one of the best around. He married Kathleen Caswell in 1993. Rocky continued in the autobody business and later worked for Domaille Motors in Rochester, MN as their auto body manager. He also worked in the car towing business at CSC Towing in Rochester, MN. Rocky has always loved tinkering with cars and his pride and joy was his 1968 Camaro that he has owned since the early '80s and has restored a few times. Rocky was loved by all who shared his passion for cars. He was proud of all of his grandkids and telling others about them whenever he had the chance and always enjoyed sharing stories about his past.

He was preceded in death by his father Donald Rockvam Sr.

Rocky is survived by his wife, Kathy; his children, Greg (Jaime) Rockvam of Harrisburg SD, his daughter, Amy (Ryan) Stringfield of Owatonna, MN; step-son, Nathan (Tanya) Caswell Rochester, MN; mother, Ruth Rockvam, Lincoln, NE; siblings, Cindy Nelson, Rochester, MN, Roy Rockvam, Webster, WI, Dennis Rockvam, Lincoln, NE, Debra (Frank) Trudell, Lakewood, CO and Donald (Ashley) Rockvam Jr of Chatfield MN; 8 grandchildren, Aidan, Delaney, and Cohen Rockvam, Breck and Brinley Stringfield, and Lilly, Matthew, and Aurora Caswell.

He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
