In Memory of Robin L. Peterson
Robin Lee Peterson, 60, passed away unexpectedly due to a heart attack on Nov 8, 2023.
Robin was born on August 25, 1963, to Darrell and Helen Peterson.
He grew up on the family farm in Turtle Lake where he attended school and he spent his time helping his Dad in the barn and fields. After graduation he started a family and resided just down the road from his childhood home. He loved to bring his kids down to the farm and spend time with them doing work around the farm. He drove semi truck for many years; first for Dennis Gille, then most of his life for Becker’s Trucking and most recently for Farm Service. During his many years of driving truck he created lifelong friendships with farmers and coworkers. Everyone who was lucky enough to know Robin knew just how big of a heart he had.
Rob leaves many great memories with his four children: Chris (Jamie) Peterson of Amery, Travis (Melissa) Peterson of Turtle Lake, Heather (Jordan) Rush of Turtle Lake, and Jamie Miller of Turtle Lake; his mother, Helen; six grandchildren: Kristy Nelson, Katie Peterson, Madison and Carter Copeland, Addie and Bryer Rush; siblings: Michael Peterson of Spokane, WA, Debbie Peterson of Amery, Cindy (Mark) Luehman of Amery, and Kristi (Mike) Ottosen of Amery; nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many other relatives and friends. He is reunited with his father Darrell Peterson; aunts and uncles Gary and Sally Peterson, Neil Hughes, Jane Hegeman, Darlene Perrin, and Kathy Krantz, as well as his best friend, Phil “Chugger” Seeger.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Monday, November 13, at the Skinner Funeral Home in Turtle Lake and for 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Zion Lutheran Church, Turtle Lake with Pastor Steve Miller officiating and burial to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
