In Memory of Rickey D. Stage
Richard Dale Stage (Rickey), of Luck, WI entered into Eternal Life on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at the age of 71, surrounded by his family.
Richard was born to Gordon and Patricia Stage in Springfield, MN on July 2, 1952. He graduated from Shakopee High School in 1970. Richard served in the Army Reserves from 1972 through 1978. On October 3, 1970, Richard married Darlene and was blessed with 6 children.
Richard was a dedicated and skilled worker in several professions. Most notable in printing, construction/roofing/remodeling, cabinetry, and music. The creativity in Richard’s talents has gifted his loved ones with many physical pieces of wood craftmanship, always made with love for each person. And the years of musical passion will be remembered in the hearts and minds of his family and friends with all the good times they’ve shared with him. His voice, laughter, strong hugs and kindness are some of his most enduring characteristics.
Richard was a man of integrity and was proud of his achievements in music; playing drums, guitar, keyboard, harmonica, singing, writing songs, recording and having been in several bands: Tak, Cactus Wine, Eureka Gold, Phlasa and 50/50. Richard enjoyed motorcycle rides, horseback riding, camping, fishing, model trains, campfires, cribbage, old TV shows and movies, sitting on the porch watching wildlife, church involvement (including a Methodist Church mission trip to Africa) and spending time with his family and friends.
