Richard Joseph Keller, age 81, a resident of Frederic, WI passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021 at his home.

Richard was born on February 29, 1940 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Theodore and Agnes Keller.

He served in the US Army as a medic.

Richard was employed by the Mobil Oil Company in St. Paul, Minnesota as a truck driver for over 20 years.

Richard married the love of his life Mary (Fake) Frey on October 14, 2006 at the St. Dominic's Catholic Church in Frederic, WI.

He enjoyed being in the outdoors, hunting, fishing, cutting wood, hunting for agates, and feeding the birds. Richard loved bowling and he became a professional bowler. Richard also enjoyed sports. He also had an endless supply of jokes.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; son, Tim (Andrea) Frey; grandson, Macallan Frey; sister, Diane Lillibridge; niece, Amy (Craig) Koonce; nephew, Chris (Maura) Lillibridge; companions, his dog, Rosie; cats, Sully, and Molly.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Siren, Wisconsin. In lieu of flowers please contribute to your local Humane Society or Animal Shelter.
