Richard “Dick” Garry Stoll Age 83, of Rice Lake, WI, died Wednesday, October 4, 2023 surrounded by his family due to a battle with cancer.

He was born on April 30, 1940 in Aberdeen, South Dakota to Vincent and Elizabeth (Kiffe) Stoll.

Dick graduated from Rice Lake High School in 1958 and then attended Vocational School to become a Draftsman at Dunwoody and WITC in Rice Lake. He was married to Sharlene (Shar) Rivard on June 15, 1968 in Rice Lake. Dick worked for Bruce Manufacturing/Smithco for 34 years and he was their first employee to the company. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He enjoyed being in the woods, tinkering and fixing anything around the house, grilling, reading and fishing in Canada.

He is survived by his wife, Shar; a son, Brian (Samantha); a daughter, Shannon (Bart) Rabas; 3 grandchildren, Emily, MaraJade and Vincent; 2 brothers, Jim Stoll and Paul (Debbie) Stoll; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Elizabeth Stoll; a brother, John Stoll; a sister, Patricia Stoll; 2 sisters-in-law, Jan and Carol Stoll; a nephew, Michael Stoll.

A private funeral service will be held. A public visitation will be held from 4-7PM Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to St. Judes Hospital or St. Joseph Catholic School in Rice Lake.
