In Memory of Richard F. Friberg
Friberg, Richard F., age 89, longtime resident of St. Paul's east side passed peacefully at his lake home in Webster, WI with family by his side.
Rich served 3 years in the U.S.Navy on a Mine Sweeper USS Grackle and when he returned back to St. Paul he worked briefly for the City Water Dept. before becoming a St. Paul Fire Fighter. Captain "Pip" Friberg served 39 years.
He is preceded in death by parents, Eunice & John; brothers, David, Jack, Joe, Ted; sisters, Rose Allie, Cathy and love of his life, wife. Donna.
Survived by brother, Norm (Gerri); sister, Dorothy; children, Dan (Lorrie), Doug (Ellen) and Denise (Steve); grandchildren, Jamie, Matthew, Natalie, Michael, Melanie, Arika (Shane), Logan (Catherine) and Lucas; great grandchildren, Celena and Dillon; many nieces and nephews; along with other relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church on Thursday, June 1, 2023 (26455 Muskey Ave. S., Webster WI 54893) Mass starts at 11 a.m., visitation 1 hour prior to mass with Father Francis Adoboli as the officiant.
