Richard was born October 25, 1969, in Hayward, WI the son of Mary (Cloud) and Richard Miller Sr. He graduated from Hayward High School and then enlisted in the U.S. Marines. After his service to our country, he lived in Minnesota where he started his own construction company and then moved back to Wisconsin where he continued his self-employment as a drywaller, painter and remodeling of homes.

He is survived by his parents; sons Michael Miller & Richard Miller III; brothers Scott (Phyllis “Phay”) Miller & LeRoy (Roberta) Miller; sister Melissa Thayer; nephews Dakota, Jacob & Jordan; nieces Stephany & Ashleigh; aunt Bernadette Miller; uncle Philip Miller; and many cousins.

Richard was preceded in death by his brother Dustin; grandparents Violet Nickence, Clyde Miller and Verna & Antoine Cloud.

The Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 noon, Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in New Post. Father Karunakar Madanu will officiate with music provided by Sister Felissa Zander. Burial will be in New Post Cemetery. Military Honors will be accorded by LCO AMVETS Post #1998. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Monday, December 11th at New Post Community Center.

Honorary casket bearers will be Ashleigh Miller, Jacob Miller, Jordan Miller, Stephany Miller & Dakota “Cody” Thayer-Miller.

Casket Bearers will be Tim DeBrot Sr., Burleigh Miller, Jordan T. Miller, Tom Tainter, Dakota L. Thayer-Miller & Matt White.
