In Memory of Richard B. Berger
Richard B. Berger, 76, passed away peacefully at his daughter’s home in Bone Lake Township.
Richard was born on January 10, 1947, in Durand, Wisconsin, the son of Phillip and Catherine (Schlosser) Berger.
Richard was raised in the Arkansaw, Wisconsin area. He dairy farmed most of his life in the Arkansaw and Plum City area. He was a hard-working family man. In his spare time, he enjoyed riding horses, riding motorcycles, and especially trikes. He also enjoyed playing cards, spending time with his family and friends, fishing and so many other things. His true passion was dairy farming which he truly loved.
Richard served his country in the United States Army from February 1966 – January 1968 during the Vietnam War. He was stationed in Korea where he was a border patrolman.
He leaves to celebrate his memory: his children, Amy (Jeramie) Jilk, Leslie (Jacob) Sailer, Ashley (William) Webster, his grandchildren: Cody Johnson, Morgan Sailer, Samuel Sailer, Bailee Erdman, Brewer Erdman, his siblings, Carol (Horace) Hurlburt, Robert Berger, Linda Mason, Ronald (Karen) Berger, Gary (Moe) Berger, Jeanie (Ronald) Passe, Polly (Jeffrey) Myers, Dennis Berger, Lynette (James) Johnson and many nieces, nephews and family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Catherine Berger.
A Celebration of Life for Richard will be held at Molly’s on Main, 515 Main Street, Plum City, WI 54761 on Sunday, April 23, 2023, from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
The Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Centuria, Wisconsin has been entrusted with arrangements.
