In Memory of Rebekah L. Ingram


June 18, 1969 - February 4, 2024

Rebekah Lynn Ingram passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024.

Rebekah was born to Edward and Sandra Nihiser on June 18, 1969. She grew up on the family farm in Wanderoos, WI with her six sisters. She graduated from Amery in 1987 and moved on to live in different states such as the Virgin Islands, Virginia and settling in Cummings, Georgia with the love of her life, Damon Nesselrodt. Rebekah started her career in Virginia in an entry position working for a fiber optic and information technology company in the mapping department. Because of her dedication and hard work, she climbed the ladder and became V.P. of DATA Architect before retiring in September 2023.

In Rebekah’s younger years, she loved to draw. Later she learned to cook and made that her passion, so much so, that her favorite books to read were a wide range of culinary cookbooks. When she and Damon came to visit every summer, she would pack a small trailer to tow her favorite cooking pans and utensils. She would spend her vacation here planning and cooking five course meals for the family. Rebekah will be remembered for her unique humor, quiet ways and the love and support she gave to her family and friends.

Rebekah was preceded in death by her fiancé Damon, father Edward and sister Elizabeth.

She is survived by her mother Sandra; sisters, Laura Nihiser, Jennifer (Jim) Leary, Kathryn (Brad) Matter, Anna (Ryan) Braaten, Margaret (Terry) Lambert Nihiser; Scott Hansen (Elizabeth’s fiancé) and a plethora of nieces and nephews, all of whom loved her very much.

A Celebration of Rebekah’s Life will take from 4 to 7 pm on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at the Williamson-White Funeral Home in Amery. A Prayer and Rosary Service will take place at 7 pm. Burial will take place at a later date at St. Bridget’s Cemetery in Stanton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Amery Food Shelf.
