In Memory of Raymond Erickson


November 28, 1958 - November 16, 2021

Raymond C. Erickson, age 62, a resident of Siren, WI passed away suddenly at his home on Tuesday, November 16th.

Ray was born on November 28th, 1958 to Carl and Delores Erickson in Barron, WI.

He grew up on a family farm in Luck, WI with his father, mother and seven siblings where there are many stories of shenanigans and mischief from his younger years. He was loved dearly by his parents and siblings who were all very special to him. Ray married his wife Tina, in 1992 at the Little Brown Church in Iowa. Ray had three children, Jered, Justin, and Mackenzie and they were his pride and joy in life.

Ray started working at Johnson Lumber Co. when he was just 19 years old. He took great pride in his job, always strived to have the yard in tip-top shape and was happy to help anyone that walked through the door. He just recently celebrated his 43rd year of service at the lumber yard. Ray loved old cars and over the years owned a few, his most memorable being his 1971 Vega GT. He always enjoyed showing them at classic car shows with his brothers and daughter. He was a one-of-a-kind guy with the biggest heart. He would do anything for the people he was surrounded by and always loved to help with whatever it was they needed. He will be greatly missed by many.

He is preceded in death by his father, Carl Erickson; mother, Delores Erickson; sister, Colleen Rud; brother-in-law, Jim Talmadge; Grandpa, Tom; and great-nephew, Tyler Molamphy.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Tina Erickson; sons, Jered (Laura) Erickson, Justin (Jaime) Erickson; daughter, Mackenzie (Isaiah) Erickson; and grandsons, Caleb and Andrew. He is also survived by his siblings, Robert Erickson, Ron (Sharon) Erickson, Connie Talmadge, Rod Erickson, Russ (Terri) Erickson, Carla (Tim) Denzine; many nieces and nephews; as well as Grandma Gloria.

A memorial visitation will be held Monday, November 22nd, 2021 from 5PM-7PM at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, in Webster WI. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 23rd, 2021 at 11AM (visitation from 10AM-11AM) at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, in Webster, WI.

Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster.
