In Memory of Ramona C. Hendricks


October 3, 1930 - July 10, 2022

Ramona Crystal Hendricks passed on July 10, 2022 at the age of 91.

Ramona was born on October 3, 1930 to Ewald and Christine (Johnson) Dehn in Long Prairie, Minnesota.

She had six siblings: Lamonte, Ronald, Ewald Jr., Douglas, Patricia and Barry. The family later moved to Little Falls, Minnesota where Ramona graduated from high school in 1948. After graduation she moved to Minneapolis where she attended secretarial school. She met her future husband Milo at the GMC Garage, where he was a mechanic and she was the office secretary. They were married at Fairview Evangelical Lutheran Church in Minneapolis on November 4, 1950. They had four children: Alan, Deborah, Bryan and Colin. Later came 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

When their children were young, Ramona had her own business cleaning homes so she could be at home for her children before and after school. Later Ramona worked at YMCA Camp Iduhapi as the camp secretary. She and Milo moved to Menomonie, Wisconsin in 1976 where she worked at the Menomonie school district until her retirement. They relocated to Osceola Wisconsin in 2006.

Ramona was a very talented seamstress and made many beautiful outfits for her children and grandchildren. She was a great cook, avid reader and gardener. Ramona was a member of Ladies Aid at each church she attended throughout the years and also volunteered at New Day thrift store. Ramona and Milo enjoyed hiking together and in the winter months they snowshoed. They were also members of Silver Sneakers and were active participants with Builders for Christ for 12 years. Ramona will be missed dearly.

Ramona was preceded in death by her husband, Milo and six of her siblings.

Ramona is survived by her brother Barry, by her children: Alan (Sarah), Deborah (Mark), Bryan (Denice) and Colin (Kathy), by her grandchildren: Amity, Melissa, Sierra, Samantha, Brenna, Brett, Kyle, Adriane, Nicole, Daniel, Andrew, Clay, Kelsey and Kayli and by her great-grandchildren: Sadie, Kyli, Cole, Noah, Elliott, Milo, Olivia, Ella, Lillian, Noah, Natalie, Andrew, Hannah, Luke, Camden, Beckett, Oliver and Reese.
