Rae Ann Clark, 67 of Cumberland passed away at her home on Tuesday, July 16, 2024.

She was the first born on July 21, 1956 in Shell Lake, WI to Raymond and Janice (Risberg) Clark.

She was married young to her first husband with whom she had her first three children, Deann, Lisa and Theodore. She later was married again and had Ashley and Joseph.

Rae Ann worked hard to achieve a bachelors in social work while raising young children, but her ability to carry out her career was cut short due to an accident.

It wasn’t until 2001 that she met the love of her life, Larry Edwards. They spent their lives together, fishing, going to concerts or car shows, and on the road sometimes together during Larry’s trucking days. Their time together was cut short in 2021 when Larry passed away from cancer.

Rae Ann was blessed with an abundance of grandchildren spread far and wide, and she enjoyed her time with them often.

Despite her health challenges, Rae Ann exhibited much strength to fight for her family.

She is survived by children, Deann (Chris) Kazungu of Bloomington, MN; Lisa (Michael) Goff of Slidell, LA; Ashley (Larry) Thoma of Lino Lakes, MN; and Joe (Jessica) Clark of Arkoma, OK; grandchildren, Alex, Tyler, Eli, Shawna, Allison, Aiden, Abigail, Vinny, Carson, Braden, Ryan, Nadia, and Kate; great granddaughter, Naiomi; father, Ray Clark; sisters, Susan (Wayne) Eskildsen of Forest Lake, MN, Peggy Lynn (Ron Wallace) Schneider of Coon Rapids, MN.

Preceded in death by soul mate, Larry Edwards; mother, Janice Clark; and son, Theodore Wilen.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, July 26, 2024 at Trinity Lutheran Church of McKinley with Rev. Diane Norstad officiating. Interment McKinley Cemetery.

Visitation will be held one half hour prior at church.

Skinner Funeral Home of Cumberland is serving the family.
