Paula I. Emery, age 49, of Lac Courte Oreilles, WI, died Thursday, April 7, 2022, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth, MN.

Paula Irene Emery was born November 22, 1972, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of John “Jackie” Day” Martin and Carmen Emery.

She worked as a supervisor cashier at LCO Convivence Center for many years. Paula loved to cook and take trips to visit family and friends. She looked forward to her great nephew Christopher “Fat Man” Emery coming to stay with her for the summer and enjoyed taking him to the beach. Paula loved the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs. She was the light that lit up any dark room. She will be missed by all that knew her.

She is survived by her children Nicholas Bradbury, Samantha Bradbury & Johnathon Bradbury; grandchildren Naima, Nyasia, Ni’Jiyah & Nicholas Jr.; brothers Corvin Emery, Jack Emery, Richard Emery & Dean Emery; sisters Karen Emery & Tara Belille; many nephews, nieces & cousins.

Paula was preceded in death by her parents John Martin & Carmen Emery; brothers Dwayne Belille & Leonard Belille Sr.; nephew Corvin Emery Jr.

The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 15, 2022, at Pineview Funeral Service. Cahto “Ombishkebines” Gonzalez will officiate. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 14th at the funeral home.

Honorary casket bearers will be Danielle Benson, Johnathon Bradbury, Edwin Kakazu, Jeff Kakazu Sr., Dawn McGuire & Penny Nickence.

Casket bearers will be Nicholas Bradbury, Demetri Dennis, Corvin Emery Sr., Dean Emery, Jack Emery, Richard Emery & Ed Potack.
