In Memory of Patrick E. Hyden
Patrick E. Hyden, 68, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at his home in Milltown, Wisconsin with his family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer.
Pat was born on August 22, 1954, in St Paul, Minnesota, the son of Wesley E. Hyden and Marlene G. (Hoffman) Nielsen.
Pat grew up in St Paul, Minnesota until 1964 when his family moved to Bone Lake Wisconsin. Pat graduated in 1972 from Unity High School. After High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Army National Guard. Pat became a father to his son Michael in 1974. In 1979 he met the love of his life, Kathy L. (Yunker) Hyden, and they were married on July 17, 1981. In 1984 they had their son Ryan.
Pat had many jobs throughout his life, including being an EMT, managing Mayer Distributing Oil Company, Owner of Pat Hyden Insulation, and Yellow River/Cemstone from which he retired after 23 years. Pat was very active in the community, a member of the American Legion Post 254, and an active member of the Milltown Fire Department, with 40 years of service.
Pat enjoyed playing ball, racing cars and garden tractors, hunting with his boys, riding his Harley, watching his grandkids, and spending time with his family and friends.
Pat is preceded in death by his parents, Wesley E Hyden, Marlene and Erling (Stepfather) Neilsen, and sibling Steven Hyden.
He leaves to celebrate his memory with his wife Kathy (Yunker) Hyden; sons Mike (Jean) Hyden, Ryan (Autumn) Hyden, and Mark Hackbarth, daughter Tina Kenevan; grandchildren Dakota and Ashley Hyden; his sister Susie (Jeff) Turner, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Visitation and A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at the Milltown Fire Department.
Visitation will begin at 12:30 pm and continue with the service at 2:00 pm.
