Patricia Ann Herbst, age 86, passed away peacefully at the Divine Nursing and Rehab Center in St. Croix Falls, WI, on July 27, 2022.

Patricia was born to Ervin and Margaret Peterson on March 17, 1936, in Buffalo, MN.

Patricia grew up and raised her family in Columbia Heights, MN with her caring husband, George Herbst. They were married on June 11, 1955. Together they retired to Big Sandy Lake in McGregor, MN in her longtime lake home. She was employed at Land O’ Lakes, National School Studies, State of MN Honeywell, and was a full-time homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, baking, reading, gardening, and playing cards.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Margaret Peterson, and brothers, Bradley and Stanley.

Patricia leaves to celebrate her memory, her loving husband of 67 years, George Oscar Herbst, children, Michael Herbst of McGregor, MN, Michelle (David) Benson of Centuria, WI, Violet (Craig) Larson of Lakeville, MN, Theresa (Andrew) Tihanyi of Amery, WI, and Vanessa Herbst (George Larson), grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, Stephanie, Richard, Melissa, Derek, Tara and Dalton, great-grandchildren, William, Ethan, Scarlett, and Katalaya Mae, as well as many other loving family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Round Lake Presbyterian Church in McGregor, MN. The service date and time is currently pending, please check back.

The Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Centuria, WI was entrusted with arrangements.
