Reverand Rod Wetzig, 77, of St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023, at St. Mary Hospital on the Mayo Clinic Campus in Rochester, Minnesota.

Rod was born on December 2, 1945, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the son of Avery and Bertha (Hollingshead) Wetzig.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Apple River Community Church, Amery, Wisconsin. The date and time will be announced soon, please check back for updated information.

Pastor Rod leaves to celebrate his memory: his wife, Linda Wetzig, St. Croix Falls, WI; his children, Jeffrey (Christy) Wetzig, Frederic, WI; Michael (Leigh Anne) Wetzig, Molina, CO; nine grandchildren, Parker, Schuyler (Nate), Niya, Jose, Antonio, Brayden, Hailey, Mercy and Abel, great-grandchild, Hudson, siblings; Mary Ann (Dave) Gallagher, Rebecca (John) Regier, John (Debbie) Wetzig, Jean (Jim) Evans, and Christi (David) Williams, sisters-in-law, Marilyn Melton and Wanda Gardner, many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

The Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Centuria has been entrusted with arrangements.
