In Memory of Myron S. Bergstrom
Myron Simon Bergstrom (99) passed away on November 2, 2023 at the Lawson Manor in Luck, WI very peacefully in his sleep.
He was born on March 20, 1924 to Paul and Anna (Romlin) Bergstrom in Trade River, WI. He attended school at Trade River. He hauled canned milk for Arnie Erickson for the Cushing Creamery. He bought a farm in rural Cushing on October 1, 1946 where he lived for 76 years.
He married Verle Brenizer on October 4, 1947, together they had two children, Judy and Dale. They dairy farmed and raised mink. They traveled to all fifty states and to Switzerland, Germany, Netherlands, Estonia, Latvia England, France, Mexico, and Canada. They celebrated their 76th Wedding Anniversary this October.
Myron truly enjoyed living on the farm. Between his tractor, lawn mower and golf cart he could travel anywhere he needed to go on the farm. If and when you came to the farm and saw his golf cart you knew he was not too far away fixing or mending something important. Other interests Myron enjoyed during his life were cutting wood, wood working, and sharing past and present stories with family and friends. Myron had a very caring and gentle way about him that many found comforting while visiting. Family was very important to Myron, and he treasured the time he spent with them.
Survived by wife Verle Bergstrom; daughter Judy (Brian) Hanson; son Dale (Merilee) Bergstrom; grandchildren Kim (Jack) Lundgren, Terry (Becky) Bergstrom, Troy (Eileen) Bergstrom, Craig (Jamie) Carlson, Trent (Gary) Bergstrom; granddaughter-in-law Amber Carlson; great grandchildren Andrew, Meghann, Jack, Brooke and Erik Bergstrom, Zachary, Trevor and Nick Bergstrom, Ascher and Mischa Carlson, Hunter and Boe Carlson; 3 great-great grandchildren Logan, Berkleigh, and Aiden; and by many nieces and nephews and friends.
