Michelle L. Blackdeer, age 33, of Lac Courte Oreilles, died Sunday, April 24, 2022, at her home.

Michelle Lee Blackdeer was born May 3, 1988, in Hayward, WI, the daughter of Tyrone Blackdeer and Shellene Nebel.

She is survived by her parents; daughter Sariah Blackdeer; sisters Justina Blackdeer & Bridget Blackdeer; brothers William Paul, Michael Blackdeer & Joseph Blackdeer; grandparents Joseph & Janis Goldman; many nephews & nieces.

Tribal Funeral Rites will begin at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 28, 2022, at Big Drum Ceremonial Center in Lac Courte Oreilles. Jeff Crone will officiate. Burial will be in Round Lake Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 27th at Big Drum Ceremonial Center.

Honorary casket bearers will be John Basswood, Vanessa Blackdeer, Michael Davis, Whitney Davis, Belinda Guibord, Cara Jean Isham, Deanna McGuire & Bryan Sam III.

Casket bearers will be William Abeita, Johnathon Blackdeer, Victor Crone, Derek “Dudes” Gokee, James Gougé, Jared Kagigebi, Adrian Quaderer & Jeremy Wade.
