In Memory of Michael McNamara
Michael Joseph “Stoney” McNamara, age 72, of Webster, WI passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2021.
Michael was born on May 2, 1949 in St. Paul, MN to parents Lawrence and Ida (Robinette) McNamara.
Michael married the love of his life, Linda on November 1, 1969 in Water Town South Dakota.
Michael graduated from South St. Paul High School in 1968. After high school he was drafted to Vietnam in 1969. After Vietnam Michael went to Brooks Barber School. After barber school he owned and operated his own businesses, MJM Hair Salon and Clam Dam Vinyard. He retired in 2005 and moved into his Clam Lake House.
Michael’s hobbies were hunting, fishing, golfing, riding ATV’S, and welding. He would weld birds out of spade shovels. Michael also loved spending his time with his loved ones and was an incredibly good “bs-er.” He also was an active member of the VFW and the American Legion.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Larry and Pat; and sister, Carolyn.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Linda; sons, Anthony (Kelly Buck) McNamara and Patrick (Kelsey Harland) McNamara; sister, Debra (Tim) Magee; brothers, Timothy (Cloquette) McNamara and Ronald (Colleen) McNamara; grandson, Logan; granddaughters, Alea, Kylee; nieces; nephews; cousins; along with many friends.
A celebration of Life will be held on a later date.
Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster.
