Marvin L. Cran passed away peacefully on December 9, 2023 at Frederic Nursing and Rehabilitation at the age of 84.

Marvin was born on October 13, 1939 to Hyatt and Stella Cran. He grew up on the family farm in the Georgetown, WI area. He graduated from Milltown High School. Following graduation, he served in the Army for 2 years and spent time stationed in Germany. In May 11, 1968 he married Juneal Wood and they bought their house in Luck, WI in the West Denmark where they lived for over 52 years. Marvin and Juneal were blessed with three children: Dudley, Donna, and Christine Cran.

Marvin worked construction in the Cities and retired after over 32 years. He loved spending is time fishing, deer and turkey hunting, and playing horseshoes. He also enjoyed being out in the woods cutting wood.

Marvin is survived by his wife Juneal; son Dudley Cran; daughter Donna (Conrad) King; sister Doris Jean Gaety; brother-in-law’s Robert (Lynda) Wood and Roger (LuAnn) Wood; mother-in-law Irma Wood; four grandsons Justin, Gavin, Isaac, and Collin; great-grandson Austin; and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and many friends.

Marvin was preceded in death by his parents; sister Delores Cran; daughter Christine Cran. He can now rest in peace with no more health problems. He will be laid to rest in a private family service.
