Marjorie Mae Erickson, 71, passed away peaceably from degenerative effects of dementia December 13th, 2021 at Traditions of Frederic Assisted Living.

She was born October 29th, 1950 in Amery Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Phyllis Erickson and brother Jason. She is survived by: sons Michael and Bryce, grandchildren River and Savanah, brothers and sisters Jim (Cheryl) Erickson, Susan (Ernie) Lessard, Jeff (Sandra) Erickson, Jerry (Julie) Erickson, Melady (Michael) Dietrich, Kathy (Ted) Zindars, Joe Erickson and John Erickson.

Marjorie was a kindred spirit who took a leap of faith moving to Minneapolis after she graduated high school in Luck, Wisconsin. In Minnesota is where she brought two sons into the world. Through grit, resiliency, and hard work she largely raised both sons on her own.

She deeply loved her Mother and Father along with her Sisters and Brothers. Her family engagement and support were a consistent source of happiness throughout her life.

Marjorie enjoyed family activities that involved her sisters and brothers. Lakes, casinos and get togethers were something she looked forward to. She loved animals and could easily make a friend out of a dog within moments of meeting one.

She will be missed as a spirit that was a source of light for so many that knew her.

Marjorie’s visitation will be on Monday, December 20th from 12:30pm to 2pm. The service will be conducted at 2:00pm followed by a meal at Trinity Lutheran Church-Mckinley 2532 15th St, Cumberland, WI 54829.
