Marcella Marie (Weitzel) Smith, age 93, passed away on February 1, 2024, at Just Like Home Assisted Living in Chetek, Wisconsin.

Marcella was born to August and Ella Weitzel on February 27, 1930, in Wall Lake, Iowa.

She is preceded in death by her parents, August and Ella Weitzel, her husband, Glenn Smith, and sons, Gary and John Smith.

Marcella is survived by, her children, Steven (Debbie) Smith, Bruce (Pam) Smith, and Marilyn (Steven) McDonald, grandchildren, Ty (Heather) Smith, Thad (Melissa) Smith, Owen (Jennifer) Smith, Katey (John) Palmer, Jesse McDonald, and Stephanie Hinrichs, and great-grandchildren, Donovan, Nolan, Colin, Oliver, Elias, Audrey, Brooklyn, Aubriella, and Brixton, as well as many other loving family and friends.

A private family ceremony will be held at a later date.

The Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
