Lylah Louise Nelson, age 93, a resident of Danbury, WI., passed away on January 2, 2024 at the Burnett Medical Center with her husband by her side. Lylah was born on April 24, 1930 in Markville, MN to parents William and Alvira (Havenor) Roatch.

Lylah married the love of her life George on March 20, 1954 at Bethlehem Lutheran in Minneapolis, MN.

In Lylah’s younger years she enjoyed playing softball and was a fantastic pitcher, she like to go bowling and was a great athlete. She also enjoyed traveling, COLLECTING THINGS, cooking and baking, and love music and instruments. Lylah was a faithful member of the Markville Lutheran Church.

Lylah is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mylah and brothers, Irvin and Glen.

She will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews and many friends.

The memorial service for Lylah will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024 at 2:00 PM (visitation from 1:00-2:00 PM) at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home in Webster.

Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home.
