In Memory of Louis C. Dazzo
We are sad to announce the passing of Louis (Lou) Charles Dazzo of Minong, Wisconsin. Lou was 68 years old when he passed on Saturday, May 6, 2023, in his home, as he desired, after succumbing to long-term illness.
Lou was born on January 7, 1955, in Chicago, Illinois to Louis and Mary Dazzo (Raimondo). While living in the Chicago area most of his life, Lou worked primarily in sales – particularly, auto sales. After moving to Minong, Wisconsin, Lou, began working for Link Recreational as a boat salesman. He retired from Link in 2017. While in Minong, Lou met his loving wife, Terri Dazzo. The two were married on August 15, 2016.
In his life, Lou most enjoyed spending time fishing with his son, Louie, and spending time sitting on the deck of the condo or the pontoon with his wife, Terri. When he could not enjoy the outdoors, you’d find Lou watching his Rocky Balboa movie. And if the weather was too cold, he felt a trip to Florida with his good friend Richie was just what he needed.
Besides his wife, Lou is survived by his father, Louis, of Burr Ridge, IL; his sister, Donna (Vince) Miceli of Chicago, IL; brothers Patrick (Patti) Dazzo of New Lenox, IL and Rocky Dazzo of Burr Ridge, IL; his son, Louis Dazzo, and daughters, Maryann and Christine Dazzo; as well as grandsons Thomas and Kacey. He is also survived by his mother-in- law, Sue Bolos, of Minong, WI; sister-in-law, Tammy (Dave) Cutsforth, of Fall Creek, WI; stepchildren: Danielle (Kyle) Gondik-Anderson, Derek Gondik, Garrett Gondik (Brittany Goldberg), and Jacob Gondik (Wendy Rakho); along with his step- grandchildren: Jake, Avery, and Chase; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as beloved friends.
Lou was preceded in death by his mother, Mary.
