Lois Laverne Miller, age 64, of Hayward, WI, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at Hayward Area Memorial Hospital.

She was born on January 15, 1958, in Hayward, WI, the daughter of Carroll and Britta (Holland) Carlson.

She was united in marriage to Richard Fred Miller on September 2, 1958, in Cable, WI.

Lois was the Town Clerk for the Town of Lenroot for 16 years. She was a dedicated 4H Leader for over 20 years and saw both of her kids through the program. She enjoyed living in the Northwoods and spent a lot of time gardening and fishing. Lois kept the family farm going. Most of all, Lois loved her family.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, Richard Miller of Hayward; her daughter Cathy J. (Kathy Hanson) Miller; her son, Joseph C. (Alesha) Miller of Hayward; her granddaughters, Morgan and Carly Miller both of Hayward; her brothers, Dutch (Grace) Holland and Fred Zoeller both of Hayward; and her nieces, nephews and dear friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Hayward Funeral Home, where visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. until the hour of the service.

Interment will be private.
