In Memory of Leslie D. Wilson
Leslie Dawn Wilson, age 55, of Reserve, WI, was called home to our Lord on May 11, 2023, at the Hayward Hospital.
Leslie was born January 7, 1968, in Hayward, the daughter of Carole “Bobo” Wilson.
She was the youngest of 7 siblings. Leslie attended school at Lac Courte Oreilles. She worked for the LCO Casino, elderly center and previous other jobs before becoming a stay-at-home mother. Leslie loved and cherished her family. She enjoyed interior decorating, gardening, garage sailing, family holidays, cookouts, Honor the Earth Pow-Wow and watching the Green Bay Packers. Leslie devoted her life to her children. She will be remembered by the love she gave and her sense of humor. Her final wish was for no one to be sad of her passing, but instead go out and have a good time in her memory.
She is survived by her mother Bobo; children Cody Wilson, Simone Stevens & Douglas Coon; grandchildren Anevay & Avayah who made her world; sisters Michelle Wilson & Tammy DeNasha; brothers Joseph Miller, James Wilson & Derek Wilson; aunt Margie Miller; uncle Carl Miller; and many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
Leslie was preceded in death by her brother Dale Wilson; grandmother Aziga Miller; aunts Mimi Miller, Beatrice Hall & Shirley Thomas; uncles Thomas Miller, Edward Miller, Roger Miller & Terry Miller; nephews Jimbo Wilson & Brad Wilson.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at St. Francis Solanus Indian Mission in Reserve. Father Karunakar Madanu will officiate with music provided by Sister Felissa Zander & Tammy DeNasha. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 16th at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward.
Honorary casket bearers will be Sharon Coon, Elaine Dennis, Valeka Kiutukcief, Darryl Miller, Jerry Miller, Rose Miller, Janelle Smith, Susan Thayer and Ronda Trepania.
Casket bearers will be James “Sunder” Dennis Jr., Dale DeNasha, Carl J. Miller, Casey Miller, Rick Miller and John Quagon.
