LeRoy C. “Bud” Wold, age 89, of Danbury, WI, formally of Babbitt, MN passed away on June 30, 2021.

He was born to Oscar and Alma Wold on April 3, 1932.

He graduated from East High in Superior, WI where he met his wife, Patricia “Pat” Fitzgerald. He served 2 years in the Us Navy. He worked on the Great Northern Railroad prior to moving to Babbitt, MN where he worked for Reserve Mining and Generation IT until retirement. On retiring, he moved to Danbury, WI.

LeRoy was a member of VFW and Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church of Danbury, WI.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Dennis, and Jim.

He is survived by his wife, Pat; son, Tim (Deb) Wold, daughter, Ann (Mike) Bergquist, daughter-in-law, Brenda (Jim) Wold; 6 grand-children and 9 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021, at 11:00 AM (visitation 10:00 – 11:00 AM) at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Webster, WI. Burial will follow service at the Hillcrest Cemetery, Blaine Township, WI.

A luncheon will take place after internment at the Hillside Inn.
