Leona "Onie” Fay Curtis, 81, of Webster, Wisconsin, died May 22, 2021.

She was born February 29, 1940, to Axel and Freada “Dolly” Olson. She was the sixth child of 10 born to this union.

She married Preston Curtis in the summer of 1966 and together they raised four children. The family resided most of their life in the Webster area.

Onie worked at Rolite in Grantsburg and then later she was employed at Capeside Cove in Siren.

Onie is survived by her children, Debbie Wicklund (Rick) of Arizona, Steve Curtis (Audrey) of Webster, Tracey Phernetton of Webster and Preston Jr. Curtis (Amanda) of Star Prairie; stepchildren, Janet (Jack) Frazee of Danbury, Terry (Millie) Curtis of Arizona and Jamie (Maryanne) Curtis of Arizona; 20 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; sisters, Bonnie Olson, Tootie Hokanson and Linda; brother, Butch (Barb) Olson; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Preston; stepchildren, Shirley Hotvedt and Mary Lee; parents, Axel and Dolly; sister, Betty Moser; brothers, Ray Olson, Mel Olson, Ken Olson and Lowell Olson; and brothers- and sister-in-law, Marty Moser, Don Hokanson, Bud Glimpse and Bernadine Olson.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 12, 2021 at 4:00 PM at Leona's Residence.

Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster.
