Lee Ann Austin, age 64, of Hayward, WI, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at Vita Care in Spooner, WI.

Lee was born on October 7, 1959, in Berwyn, IL, to parents Chester and Joyce (Bruno) Austin. Lee was raised in La Grange, IL. After graduating from high school, she moved with her parents to Marietta, GA. After her father’s passing, Lee and her mother moved to Hayward, WI in 2001 living in the house next to her sister, Ellen and her husband, Roy. Lee worked for many years at Ventures Unlimited in Hayward, which she loved. She enjoyed listening to music, watching movies and she was a talented artist. Although only for a very brief time, Lee was able to fulfill her lifelong dream of living independently in her own apartment.

Lee is survived by her sister, Ellen (Roy) Townsend of Hayward, WI. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Lee’s family would like to sincerely thank her caregivers at Vita Care in Spooner and also Moments Hospice Eau Claire.
