Laura M. Moose “Waabananigookwe” also known as “Lips”, age 60, a resident of Hertel passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023 at her home.

Laura was born in Shell Lake, Wisconsin on August 16, 1963 to Lawrence and Lydia (Arbuckle) Reynolds.

Laura enjoyed bowling, playing bingo, sewing and travel. She also like to be outdoors picking blueberries.

She was preceded in death by her parents and infant brother, Derek.

She is survived by her children, Shaurette (Aaron Lamson) Reynolds, Tristen (Marisa Churchill) Oustigoff, Brennen Moose and Brittany Moose; her grandchildren, Sydney, Koner, Jalen, Kiersen, Ealen, Emalea and Kellen; her great grandson, Suede; brothers, William (Gina) Reynolds, Dustin Reynolds and David St. John; sisters, Tamara Reynolds and Rebecca Reynolds; her aunt, Sandra Churchill; along with other relatives and friends.

Friends may call on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 after 6:00 PM at the St. Croix Tribal Center in Hertel. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 10:00 AM at the tribal center with Clifford “Skip” Churchill officiating. Interment will follow at the Sand Lake Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jalen Lamson, Koner Lamson, Ealen Oustigoff, Bryton Summer, Jaxon Reynolds and Gannen Reynolds. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Reynolds and Jake Reynolds.

Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster.
