Larry "Lonnie" Eugene Mikkelson, age 92, passed away on July 3, 2023, in Spooner, Wisconsin.

Lonnie was born to Helmer “Dewey” and Nora Alvina Mikkelson on October 5, 1930, in Rice Lake, Wisconsin.

Lonnie enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching sports, and chatting over a cup of coffee. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dewey Mikkelson and Nora Bilderback, ex-wife Joyce Mikkelson and wife Linda Mikkelson, and siblings, Curtis and Muriel.

Lonnie is survived by his children, Thomas (Kim) Mikkelson and Valerie (Barry) Hight, grandchildren, Christian (Sandy), Jennifer (Jesse), Brittany (Bryan), Peter (April), and Shannon, and great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Haley, Duke, Drake, Amelia, Indira, Finnegan, and Tessa as well as many other loving family and friends.
