In Memory of Kimberly A. Turcott
Kimberly A. Turcott, 63, of Hastings, MN., passed away peacefully Friday November 4th, with family by her side.
Kimberly was born February 17th, 1959, in Cumberland, to Richard and Carol (Frahm) Turcott.
Kim was raised in Cumberland and graduated from Cumberland High School in 1977. After graduation, Kim attended UW Stout in Menomonie. Kim graduated with Bachelor of Arts in Clothing, Textile and Design in 1982. After graduation from Stout, Kim moved to St. Paul, MN., where she held a variety of jobs and volunteer opportunities.
As life went on, Kim developed debilitating health conditions. Kim lived her life to the fullest, enjoying coffee with friends, eating out, attending plays, going to the Twins games, and the Minnesota State Fair. Kim loved spending time with family and friends, reading cookbooks and watching food shows. Kim’s last 10 plus years of life were at New Challenges, Inc., where she made many friends and received wonderful care. Kim viewed New Challenges as her second family.
Kim is survived by her mother, Carol of Cumberland; three sisters, Debbie Yeager of Boyd, Valerie Larkin of St. Cloud, MN., Tracey (Brian) Paris of Douglas, WY., one brother Craig (Jennifer) Turcott of Cumberland, seven nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kim was preceded in death by her father, Richard Turcott in 2014.
Services will be held Saturday, November 19th, 2022, at 11:00 am at First Lutheran Church in Cumberland, with Reverend Timothy Schmidt officiating.
A private burial will be held at St. Anthony Abbot Cemetery.
A celebration meal will be held following the service at the Turcott home at 2305 Jeffrey Boulevard in Cumberland. All are welcome.
