In Memory of Kathleen M. (Lynch) Wirth
Kathleen M. Wirth, age 74, of Ridgeland, WI passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield.
She was born on December 18, 1950 in Eau Claire, WI to Grant & Dolores (Johnson) Lynch. She has 4 sisters; Patti, Marcia, Paulie & Gail. She married her true love, Brian Wirth, on October 17, 1970. She was so proud of her husband and the business he built with his brother Craig. They had 2 children, Kristin and Jason. Kathy lived in Ridgeland most all of her life and loved every minute of it. Kathy loved being a wife and stay at home mom with her children until they went to school. She worked at Lewies Cash Store & Sterling Bank where she had so many wonderful coworkers & friends. She always looked forward to coming to the bank after retirement to catch up. She enjoyed every customer she got to help over the years.
In her early years, Kathy loved to play slow pitch softball. She was an outstanding pitcher helping the Mac Standard Team win many tournaments with so many fabulous team mates & good times. Kathy was a member of St Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church in the Town of Prairie Farm for over 50 years & had such a strong faith in God. She belonged to the Ladies Aid, Greenwood Cemetery Board & various community programs. Kathy loved to help in any way she could; serving in food stands, helping at the library, decorating the park & always willing to serve her community where ever she was needed. She loved to cook, bake & serve wonderful family meals on Sundays.
Family was most important to her. She loved spending time with her children & grandchildren so much, always supporting & cheering them on in everything they did. She was a true matriarch to the family. Kathy enjoyed her travels over the years with her husband, sisters & friends. She enjoyed going to the cabin, always up for a beanbag competition & fishing for hours, until her "cranker got tired". That's one hobby she thoroughly enjoyed, and if there was a time when she wasn't home, we always joked that she was "At the Lake", Turtle Lake.
Surviving in addition to her husband Brian, are daughter: Kristin (Blaine) Huset & son: Jason Wirth (Ashley Glaser), grandchildren: Brittany Huset (David Espey), Jay (Lyla) Huset, Nikki (Eric) Armstrong & Kasen Armstrong, sisters: Patti Rutherford (Rick), Marcia (Ron) Friedell, Paulie (Gregory) Wirth & Gail (Rolfe) Anderson, sisters-in-law: LeeAnn & Judy Wirth, cousin: John (Jamie) Lynch, as well as many nieces & nephews.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents: Grant and Dode, mother & father-in-law: Richard & Melva Wirth & 2 brothers-in-law: Craig & Roger Wirth.

Roger Quandt officiating & interment following in the church cemetery.
