In Memory of Joseph Buck


June 13, 1949 - December 9, 2021

Joseph Richard Buck, 72, of the Round Lake Community, rural Luck, Wisconsin, passed away at his home on Thursday, December 09, 2021, with his loving family at his side.

Joseph was born on June 13, 1949, in Hayward, Wisconsin the son of Joseph P. Sr. and Violet (Skinaway) Buck.

Joseph attended and graduated from Stillwater High School in Stillwater, Minnesota. He worked and lived in St. Paul, Minnesota as an Auto Body Repairman at Casperson’s Auto Body for many years until he retired from there. He then worked for the Ho-Chunk Nations as a drug and alcohol counselor. He then moved to Arizona to enjoy the warmth and sunshine and eventually returned to Wisconsin and made his home at the Round Lake Community until he passed away. He practiced doing sweat lodges for those who asked for spiritual guidance. He will be truly missed.

He leaves to celebrate his memory: son, Joseph (Amelia) Richard Buck III, Tower, MN; grandchildren: Danika, Violet Mae, Joe-Joe, Justin, Andre, and Marika Buck, great-grandchildren: Zyra, Sirus, Araigh, and Joe, two traditional adopted children, siblings, Deloris Mosay, Frederic, WI and Jennifer (Pete) Lowe, Round Lake, WI; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by, his parents, Joseph P. Sr., and Violet Buck, his sister, LaVerne Buck, his daughters, Georgina and Jolene Buck.

Services for Joseph will be held at the Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Centuria, Wisconsin.  Services will be on Monday, December 13, 2021 beginning at 10 AM. He will be laid to rest at the Johnstown Township Cemetery following the services. Casket Bearers will be Nicholas Mosay, Ridge Mosay, Jordan Buck, Greg Madigan, Mike Buck, Cody Benjamin, and Nisway Buck.

Honorary Casket Bearers will be Frank Buck, Steve Lowe, Javier Cadena, Don Johnson and Kelly Lowe.

The Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Centuria has been entrusted with arrangements.
