In Memory of John J. Temple
John J. Temple, age 88, of Almena, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at his home.
He was born on August 18, 1934 in Eau Claire and grew up there.
He graduated from high school in Eau Claire and then entered the Army. After being discharged, John moved to St. Paul, Minnesota where he worked for the U.S. Postal Service until retiring in the early 90’s. He then moved to Almena.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
John is survived by many cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
A memorial service for John will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Almena with Father Tommy Thompson officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 until 11:00 at the church prior to the service. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Almena.
Arrangements are being handled by Rausch and Steel Funeral Home in Barron.
